Last opportunity for Fundraiser PDF Print E-mail

As a way to raise additional funds for our Volleyfreak Jr. club, we gave parents the option of keeping dues lower and participating in several fundraisers.  The remaining options for fulfilling your fundraising requirements is donation food items to several of the upcoming concession stand or working a half day at the stand.  The first tournaments benefitting Volleyfreak Jr. is March 20 (13's) and March 21 (14's) at Hudson High School.  The second (and last) set of tournaments will be May 1 (12's) and May 2 (17's/18's).

In fulfilling your fundraising requirement, you may opt to donate a food item and/or work a shift behind the counter at the stand.  Working the stand means that you will be in or around the concession stand at all times, not watching your daughter's game.  It is your choice to work the stand and it is important to be respectful/responsible for the others that are working.  We need 3 people for each shift and the shifts are as follows:

Saturday, March 20

  • 1st shift: 7:30 am - 12:30 pm (FILLED - Jamey Price, Vicki Price, Rachel Roukey)
  • 2nd shift: noon - 5 pm (FILLED - Katie Butcher-Wolfe, Kathy Denny, Anna Denny)

Sunday, March 21

  • 1st shift: 7:30 am - 12:30 pm (need 3 volunteers)
  • 2nd shift: noon - 5 pm (need 3 volunteers)

Remember, we need 3 people per shift to work and once those 3 spots have filled, you will be asked to choose another time.

If you choose to donate some food items, bring your donation in when you arrive (8 AM) to play in the tournament that day or pass the donation to your coach/Coach Price/Coach Kelly prior to the tournament date.  We have tried to keep the total cost of these items between $25 - $30 for each donation-depending on where you shop.  If you are donating a non-perishable item (drinks/candy/chips), we do need those items for the Saturday, March 20!  Please adjust accordingly.  The perishable food items have been separated into which specific day the family will be supplying the item.  Sorry about any confusion!
