Attention 15s team:

Your second tournament is this Saturday at the Tallmadge Rec Center.  This is a 'home court' tournament for our club so work hard, have fun, and make us all proud!

Basically, doors open at 8am, play starts at 8:45.  Have your parents bring chairs!

Currently, there are just three teams in your pool.  You will play first.  Bring something to do in your idle time -- on a three team net, you'll have some time to kill.

VolleyFreak, Jr. is very happy to announce the addition of two new coaches for the 15's team.  Ken & Annette (Skippy) Moinette have been deeply involved in developmental volleyball for a very long time.  They are true ambassadors of the sport and their passion for teaching it shows through in everything they do.

Ken's most recent experience includes coaching as a "consultant" for Springfield High School's varsity team.  He also stepped in for St. Vincent St. Mary's Boys Varsity head coach mid-season in 2009 (when Coach Cooper transferred to Texas).  

Both Coach Ken and Coach Skippy Moinette also ran clinics for adult athletes for Akron Recreation Bureau and VolleyFreak in the Fall 2008.  Their knowledge of the game and dedication to teaching it with an emphasis on fun and integrity will be tremendous assetts to this club.  Thank you very much, Coaches!
