Budget-wise, we're going to need to add some funds to our totals here. A total of $700 has been paid. It will be required to get at least another $100 from each participant. We might want to round up a little because the USAV registration is going to be $60 a person!

Ladies:
In case you need to preview the cut & style of the jersey for this year, here is a photo.
We'll be going with 1 black and 1 red. The numbers (front and back) will be white with your last name printed on the back.
The total cost for each shirt is $10 (that's $20 total).
Something to keep in mind, we might need to buy an alternate color for our libero uniform. If it is required, we can probably go with light blue or yellow so that that libero stands out for USAV.

My personal coaching philosophy is to teach kids how to play this game the right way -- with integrity and having fun. Teammates should respect each other, respect the rules of the game, and play and improve for its intrinsic value of the game (not because someone else is making them play). My goal is to always remain cool and composed. That leads to an environment where athletes can learn the tools that it takes to succeed at volleyball and at life. They'll learn a lot regarding handling stress, relationships with teammates, respect for opponents, and respect for themselves. |
